Litigation Support
Some of the areas where we can provide litigation support services include:
- Valuation of the shares (or net assets) of small and medium-size businesses for litigation purposes, such as shareholder or matrimonial disputes;
- Loss quantification for damages in breach of contract or tort cases (including personal injury);
- Loss quantification for business interruption insurance purposes;
- Forensic investigations in cases of fraud or misappropriation of funds;
- Assisting with mediations, arbitrations and giving expert testimony on both criminal and civil matters.
Our partner in charge of litigation support and forensic services, Murray Dusanj, has considerable experience in this area and has the Investigative and Forensic Accounting (IFA) designation, which indicates that he is recognized by the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants as being an expert in the field.
